How to put videos side by side

Combine 2 to 6 videos into one: side by side, stacked, grid, mosaic, big-plus-side, picture-in-picture or a diagonal split. Choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, round the corners, add gaps, borders, labels and a solid or blurred background, decide how long the collage runs and which sound to use (or mix them all), then export an MP4.

Drop two or more videos at once (or add them one by one), choose Side by side, Stacked or Grid, and the preview plays them in sync. Reorder clips with the arrows, set each one to fill its cell or fit the whole picture, then click Create collage video. The collage is rendered frame by frame into a single MP4.

Detailed guide

Choose the right layout

Different comparisons need different layouts; the list adapts to the number of clips.

LayoutClipsGreat for
Side by side2 to 6Before/after, comparisons, duets
Stacked2 to 6Vertical 9:16 reactions and tutorials
Grid2 to 6Montages, multi-camera views
Big + side / bottom2 to 6Main video with secondary angles
Picture-in-picture2 to 6Reactions, gameplay with facecam
Mosaic3 to 5Dynamic social collages
Split diagonal2 to 6Stylish versus and transformation videos

Before and after videos

Turn on Show labels on clips and name each cell (for example Before and After, Day 1 and Day 30, or Original and Edited). Labels appear as tidy badges in the corner of each clip, which makes transformation, renovation, fitness, color-grading and editing comparisons instantly clear.

Timing and sound

Clips rarely have the same length. Choose whether the collage lasts as long as the longest clip, the shortest, or a specific clip; shorter clips either loop or freeze on their last frame. For audio, use one clip's sound, mix all of them (with a volume slider per clip), or export silently and add music later.

Finish your collage

Add captions or a watermark to the finished collage, or resize it for another platform.
