How to add a comment reply in CapCut

Download the PNG at 2x or more. In CapCut, tap Overlay, then Add overlay, and choose the image. Resize it, move it to the top third of the frame and set its length to the first few seconds of the clip. If your editor shows a black box instead of transparency, use the green screen backdrop and the editor's chroma key.

Tips for reply videos

Place the bubble near the top third of the frame so captions and buttons don't cover it. Keep it on screen for the first few seconds, long enough to read. If the comment is long, trim it to the actual question; the bubble fits up to four lines.
