What information should I include on an invoice?+

A professional invoice should include: your business name and contact details, client name and address, invoice number, issue date and due date, itemized list of services/products with prices, subtotal, taxes (if applicable), total amount due, and payment terms.

How do I add tax to my invoice?+

Enter your tax rate (e.g., 8% sales tax, 20% VAT) in the tax field. The calculator automatically computes the tax amount and adds it to the subtotal to show the final total due.

Can I create invoices in different currencies?+

Can I show a deposit or partial payment on the invoice?+

Yes. Enter an amount already paid and the invoice displays a clear Balance Due below the total. It's ideal for deposits, milestone billing and retainers where the client has paid part of the amount up front.

Can I change the invoice colour to match my brand?+

Yes. Pick a brand accent colour and it applies to the document badge, section headings, the totals bar and the PDF — giving each invoice a consistent, branded look without any design work.

Will my invoice be saved if I close the tab?+

Your draft auto-saves to your browser's local storage, so it's still there when you return on the same device and browser. Nothing is uploaded — clearing your browser data or using the Reset button removes it.

Is my client data stored anywhere?+

No. Everything is processed in your browser and nothing is saved after you close the page.

Can I invoice in different currencies?+

Yes — choose the currency symbol that matches the client, and totals format accordingly.
