Khatm Quran Planner

Plan and finish a full reading (khatm) of the Qur'an by a date or in a set number of days, with a day-by-day schedule, progress tracking, and a built-in Qur'an reader (Arabic + translations + recitation) so you can read today's portion right in the tool. Free, private, Ramadan-ready.

Complete a khatm of the Qur'an on schedule. Tell the planner your goal — finish in Ramadan, in a set number of days, or by a specific date — and it splits the 604-page Mushaf into an even daily portion, shows exactly which pages, juz and surahs to read each day, estimates your reading time, and tracks your progress as you tick off each day. A built-in Qur'an reader lets you open today's portion instantly with the Arabic text, your choice of translation and optional recitation audio — everything in one place, saved privately in your browser.

How to use

How to use Khatm Quran Planner

  1. 01

    Choose your goal

Pick 'Ramadan' for the classic one-juz-a-day khatm, 'In N days' to set your own pace, or 'By a date' to finish before a deadline such as the 27th night.

  2. 02

    Set your pace

Optionally resume from the page you've reached, split the daily reading across several sittings (for example after each of the five prayers), and choose whether to see the amounts as pages, juz or hizb.

  3. 03

    Follow the daily schedule

The planner lists every day with its exact page range and juz. Read today's portion, then tick it off — your progress bar and pages-read count update and save automatically.

  4. 04

    Read inside the tool

Tap 'Read this now' or the Read button on any day to open the Qur'an reader at that juz, with the Arabic text, your translation and optional audio recitation.

Overview

What is a Khatm of the Qur'an?

A khatm (khatm al-Qur'an) is the completion of a full reading of the entire Qur'an, from Surah al-Fatihah to Surah an-Nas. Muslims aim to complete at least one khatm during Ramadan, following the tradition of reciting more in the month the Qur'an was revealed, and many keep a steady reading throughout the year. The Qur'an is organised into 30 ajzā' (juz, or para) precisely so it can be read evenly over a month — one juz a day completes a khatm in Ramadan. This planner turns any goal into a clear daily portion so completing a khatm becomes a simple, trackable habit rather than a vague intention.

How the planner divides the reading

The tool is built around the standard 604-page Madani Mushaf (the King Fahd Complex layout used in most printed Qur'ans). It divides the pages you have left evenly across the number of days in your goal, so each day gets a balanced portion — for a 30-day Ramadan khatm from the start, that is about 20 pages, or one full juz, per day. For every day it shows the exact page range, which juz those pages fall in, and the surah the day's reading begins with, and it estimates the time needed at a calm recitation pace. You can resume from any page, so a half-finished khatm is re-planned across your remaining days instantly.

Reading the Qur'an inside the tool

Unlike a plain schedule, this planner includes a full Qur'an reader so you can act on the plan immediately. Open any day's portion and read the authentic Arabic Uthmani script alongside a translation of your choice — Saheeh International, Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, an English transliteration, or Urdu — and, if you like, listen to the verse-by-verse recitation of Shaykh Mishary Rashid Alafasy with automatic play-through. The text is served from a well-known open Qur'an source and cached in your browser, so re-reading is instant. Pairing the schedule with the text in one place removes the friction that usually breaks a reading habit.

Building a lasting reading habit

Consistency is what completes a khatm, so the planner is designed around small, repeatable wins. Split the daily portion across several sittings — a few pages after each of the five daily prayers is a time-honoured way to finish a juz without it feeling heavy. Tick off each day to watch your completion bar and pages-read total grow, and pick up exactly where you left off next time, because your plan and progress are saved privately in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works on any device, so your reading stays personal and always to hand.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much Qur'an do I read per day to finish in Ramadan?+

To complete one khatm over the 30 days of Ramadan, you read one juz (about 20 pages of the standard Mushaf) each day. A common way to manage it is to read roughly four pages after each of the five daily prayers, which adds up to a full juz. The planner shows your exact daily portion.

Can I plan to finish the Qur'an by a specific date?+

Yes. Choose the 'By a date' goal and pick your deadline — for example the 27th night of Ramadan — and the planner divides the remaining pages evenly across the days until then, showing what to read each day.

Can I read the Qur'an inside the planner?+

Yes. It has a built-in reader with the full Arabic (Uthmani) text plus your choice of translation — Saheeh International, Pickthall, Yusuf Ali, Urdu or transliteration — and optional verse-by-verse recitation audio. Tap 'Read this now' to jump straight to today's assigned juz.

Does it track my progress if I close the page?+

Yes. Your plan settings and the days you've ticked off are saved locally in your browser, so your progress bar and pages-read count are still there when you return. Nothing is uploaded or shared.

I already started — can I plan the rest?+

Yes. Set 'Resume from page' to where you've reached and the planner re-divides only the remaining pages across your chosen number of days, so your daily portion stays balanced to the finish.

Which Mushaf and page count does it use?+

It uses the standard 604-page Madani Mushaf (King Fahd Complex layout), the most widely printed Qur'an, with the well-known juz start pages. If your printed copy has a different page layout, use the juz numbers shown for each day as your guide.

Is the tool free and private?+

Completely. There is no signup, no ads on the tool, and it works on any device. Your plan and progress stay in your own browser; only the Qur'an text you open in the reader is fetched from an open Qur'an data source and cached locally.
