The right staff paper for any instrument
Manuscript paper isn't one-size-fits-all. Pianists need a grand staff with a brace joining treble and bass; a vocalist or single-line instrument just needs a treble staff; guitarists want six TAB lines, while bassists and ukulele players want four. This generator produces all of them, plus blank chord-diagram grids for working out voicings. Add a time signature — 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 12/8 and more — and it's drawn cleanly at the start of every staff. Everything is vector, so it prints razor-sharp at any size.
Built for songwriting and for beginners
Songwriters can add one to three dashed lyric lines beneath each staff to pencil words in as they compose. Teachers and beginners can switch to a light 'trace' shade so students draw over faint staff lines, turn on measure numbers, and add Name and Date lines to the header for a ready-to-hand-out worksheet. A title and composer credit finish the page.
Print, PDF, or PNG — portrait or landscape
Choose how many staves fill the page and how many measures each line is split into with bar lines, then pick portrait or landscape at A4 or US Letter to match your printer. Print as many copies as you like, or save a vector-sharp PDF or a PNG to reuse — completely free, no watermark, nothing uploaded.
