Overview

14 SVG tools most sites don't have

SVG Forge is a complete vector workbench: generate waves, blobs, seamless patterns, polygons, spirals, and stars; edit raw paths and calculate viewBoxes; and optimize, minify, clean, simplify, recolor, or bundle SVGs into a sprite. Each generator has a live preview and controls; each processor shows a before/after size saving. It fills a gap most tool sites ignore — dedicated, high-quality SVG utilities in one place.

Copy, embed, or download — your way

Every result can be copied as raw SVG markup, as a ready-to-paste Data URI, or as a CSS background rule, and downloaded as a .svg file. Generators support randomize and reset for fast exploration, and processors report exactly how many bytes you saved. Everything runs locally in your browser — your artwork is never uploaded.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What SVG tools are included?+

Fourteen: Wave, Blob, Pattern, Polygon, Spiral, and Star generators; a Path Editor and ViewBox Calculator; and Optimizer, Minifier, Cleaner, Path Simplifier, Color Replacer, and Sprite generators — all in one interface.

How do I optimize an SVG file for free?+

Open the Optimizer, paste your SVG markup, and choose options like decimal precision, stripping comments and metadata, and collapsing whitespace. The tool shows the original vs optimized byte size and the percentage saved, then lets you copy or download the result.

How do I make an SVG wave or blob?+

Use the Wave or Blob generator, adjust the sliders (amplitude, frequency, complexity, contrast) and colors, and the vector updates live. Hit randomize to explore variations, then copy the SVG or download it.

Can I get the SVG as a CSS background or Data URI?+

Yes. Every generator output offers three export tabs — raw SVG, a compact Data URI, and a ready-to-paste CSS background-image rule — plus a one-click .svg download.

What does the SVG cleaner remove?+

It strips XML declarations, DOCTYPE, comments, <metadata>, and editor-specific namespaces (Inkscape and Sodipodi) that vector editors add — leaving clean, portable markup. You can also optionally remove id attributes.

Is my SVG uploaded to a server?+

No. All generation and processing runs locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your artwork and markup never leave your device, so it's private and instant.
