Every PDF task in one private workspace
Most people juggle a different website for each PDF job — one to merge, another to compress, a third to sign — and upload sensitive documents to a new server every time. PDF Studio replaces that with a single toolkit. Merge and split, compress, convert images to and from PDF, rotate pages, add page numbers, apply watermarks, sign documents and even design LinkedIn carousels all live behind one interface, and you can jump between them without re-uploading. Crucially, every operation runs client-side using the pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries, so your files stay on your device from start to finish.
Why client-side processing matters for PDFs
PDFs often carry exactly the information you least want to leak: signed contracts, bank statements, medical forms, ID scans. Conventional online converters upload that file to a remote machine, process it there, and hand back a link — meaning your document briefly lives on someone else's infrastructure and may be cached or logged. PDF Studio never makes that trip. The tools read and write your PDF entirely in the browser tab, which also means they keep working with a flaky connection and are fast because there is no round-trip to a server.
Quality-preserving edits, not lossy re-renders
Where it counts, PDF Studio edits the document structure rather than flattening it. Merging and organizing pages use pdf-lib's page-copy operation, so text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded and images keep their original resolution — nothing is rasterized. Rotation, page numbers and watermarks are written as real PDF instructions on top of the existing content. Only the compressor deliberately re-samples pages to images, because that is what actually reduces file size; you control the trade-off with a live quality slider and see the resulting reduction percentage before downloading.
Built for real workflows
The studio is organized around the way documents actually move through a day: organise and optimise, convert, enhance and sign, and create. That grouping means the tool you need next is usually one click away — merge several files, then compress the result, then drop a signature on the last page, without ever leaving the page or losing your place. Add page numbers to a report before sending it, watermark a draft as CONFIDENTIAL, or turn a PDF deck into images for social — the common chains are all covered, and everything exports free of watermarks or signup walls.
