### How to rotate a video that plays sideways

Phones store videos in the orientation the sensor was held and add a rotation flag; when that flag is missing or wrong, the video plays sideways or upside down. Load the file, press 90° right or 90° left until the preview is upright, and export. Rotating by 90° or 270° swaps width and height, so a 1920 × 1080 landscape clip becomes a 1080 × 1920 portrait one.
