The converter runs an edge-detection and dodge-blend pipeline on the Canvas API to mimic how a pencil catches contours: it finds the lines that define your subject and renders them as soft graphite strokes on white. Because it all happens in the browser, the preview updates live as you drag the sliders and your original photo is never uploaded anywhere.
Six styles, from coloring pages to comics and blueprints
Coloring-page and ink modes turn the same edges into clean outlines you can recolour to any hue — then print straight from the tool for a custom coloring sheet. Comic mode posterises the colours and traces bold outlines for a pop-art look, while blueprint renders white linework on classic drafting-blue. Charcoal pushes the contrast for a graphic feel, and an invert switch flips any sketch to light-on-dark.
